Products & support

Custom orthotics, made for your needs

Custom orthotics come in different designs, materials and levels of flexibility. The right option depends on your assessment and individual needs.

Rigid orthotics

Often used to help control foot function and walking mechanics. Designs may use firmer materials for structural support.

Soft orthotics

Typically made from cushioning materials to absorb shock and help reduce pressure on uncomfortable or sensitive areas.

Semi-rigid orthotics

Combine supportive and flexible materials and may be suitable for walking, sports and other activities.

How orthotics are produced

The process involves capturing the shape and structure of the foot and manufacturing the appropriate custom-made support. Different casting and scanning methods may be used.

CWG describes working with PFO Laboratory, an orthotics laboratory in North America, to provide custom devices based on the prescription and assessment.

Why the assessment matters

Not every foot concern requires the same orthotic design. A clinical and biomechanical assessment helps guide the recommendation, including materials, fit and footwear considerations.
